Hey Friends~I'm back for MORE blogging!!
Was at Padang(Sumatra) for 5 days..
For holiday purpose..From 17-21 march 09..
We went as a group in Hamidah Travel package..
I really,truly,honestly enjoyed the trip..
Made new friends(mostly the makcik2 & pakcik2)..
Made friend with a 7 years old girl called NATASHA~
This girl was soo sweet..I LOVE HER~
Met Momok Latif and the daughter in the same package..
Wanna know how was the trip??Read all this post i transfer from
my little diary to this blog..
TUESDAY,17 March 2009 :
>> I was over excited that i woke up before anyone else in the house..
Mummy was shocked to find out that i wasn't in my room at 5..
Know where was i?? Of course in the bathroom showering myself with warm
water..I kept wondering how will the trip goes??Will i ever get along with the other
people i am about to know in the group?? They are all going to be strangers..
I am about to find out later.........[6.00 AM]
>>We all just got checked-in in the hotel at BUKIT TINGGI..
So here i am to continue how the trip goes so far~
Everyone in my group(BUS 2) were soo friendly..
I am soo grateful..However i remained as quiet,cause there's only 2 teenagers(me & Faiz)
and 1 kid (Natasha).."malu-malu kucing lah kan"..
People started asking for my age..As usual they refused to believe only until
my parents were the one to tell them.."tkpe2 da biase"
We board the plane at around 9am..I never know that being on a plane was soo boring..
all we could see outside was clouds and skies..Rainbow,once..
At around 10plus we reached at the Bandara International Minangkabau..
Then board the bus (BUS2) and headed to Bukit Tinggi..
We visited the Lembah Anai Waterfall..Pretty Simple,i must say~
Then had our lunch at a local restaurant..The food were very nice..
Then to Pandai Sikek..Now in the hotel..Gonna go out as a group againn later..
For dinner this time.....[4.35 PM]
>>I'm back in the hotel..Dinner was delicious..Kampong style..That's what i like..
Yummy~ i ate two times and it was unexpected..
Now i'm off to sleep......[10.45 PM]

WEDNESDAY,18 MARCH 2009 :
>> Breakfast was boring..Ate a plate of noodle but stopped after awhile,cause
" there's a tiny black worm in it..i know,gross!! "
I lost my appetite and refused to eat anything else..But was forced to eat atleast two bread..
Long Journey is about to come..........[7.35 AM]
>> Tired but enjoyed myself..Made new friend..A little girl called NATASHA~
She told me i look soo pretty and like me..She called me a princess..
She suddenly told her parents that she wanted to sit with me in the bus after the trip to
Tasik Singkarak..Soo Random..
Of course,i am more than happy to let her sit beside me cause i love kids,remember??
We started the journey by visiting Hajah Rosma at Kampong Baso..
The place consists of students from Malaysia and Indonesia learning how to do Sulam..
Some of them were already quite skilled.. After that,We headed off to Tabeh Patah,
where they showed us how Coffee and Banana Crackers were made..We were given a
chance to taste the coffee and tea for free..However,i refused to taste the coffee..
Cause i ALWAYS HATE COFFEE!!
Then,boarded the bus again and continue our journey to Batu Sangkar to see the
Linduang Bulan Castle.. It didn't really looked like castle like what we always see in the TV..
But inside,AWESOME!!! Beautiful and colourful..Too bad mummy stayed in the bus as she suffered from headache..Next to Tasik Singkarak..The scenery was SUPERB!!
Captured alot of picture there..That was when NATASHA suddenly wanted to sit with me..
NICE~!!!...........[5. 50 PM]
>>Dinner was again delicious!! But stopped after awhile cause this time
" There's a mosquito on my food".. The Cik Rahmat told me to stop eating already..
I was soo sad~ After the dinner,some were sent back to the hotel for massaging..
And some were sent to a Traditional Minangkabau Show..Of course,Cik Rahmat,Cik Siti,
Cik Nora and all the younger ones chose to go to the show..And so did my family..
Now,we started to get along very well..Main joker was Cik Rahmat..We laughed alot!!
At the Finale of the show,i was chosen to dance infront of everyone..I refused but then was
pulled..Embarrassing~ Then after the whole thing we board the bus again and Buyung teased me.." Kene berjoget ya tadi??" Then he laughed,i just smiled..Mummy said that she could see that Buyung really wanted to talk to me from the first day..Soo Obvious~!!
Now,i'm off to sleep.........[11.00 PM]

THURSDAY 19 MARCH 2009:
>> Breakfast.....Then checked out hotel..Gonna stay in another resort today.....[7.40 AM]
>>After breakfast,i was greeted by NATASHA, "Hello Kakak Nabila"..
Greeted her back and entertained her by making jokes..She kept hugging me in the bus..
Then,we are off to Panorama Ngarai Sianok(lobang Jepon)..Daddy purchased a portrait
of Sawah Padi..Very pretty!! I bought a model of bicycle and trishaw..After that we were sent to Pasar Atas to shopped..Bought a necklace that were made of thin metal..My name was cut out..
Mummy bought alot of telekong and tudong..Then had our lunch..I Like and i ate twice..
Cik Rahmat said "Tak Padan Kecik eh kau..Asik lapar je.." haha!! Yup i am always hungry..
Then went to Tasik Maninjau by Kelok 44..It has been a perilous journey going up and down
the mountain..The path was very narrow..Lucky for us,the bus driver was very skilled..There's one time we almost hit a car..Phew~ After that we went to the Professor Hamka museum..
I stayed in the bus cause i'm soo sleepy and NATASHA was sleeping on my shoulder..Didn't want to wake her up..Poor little girl.......[5.55 PM]
>>Now in a beautiful resort..NUANSA MANINJAU RESORT..
Scenery,Location and everything there are superb!! Reached,played in the playground swing..
After the dinner in the resort..We as a group gathered outside and have a very long chat..
we joke around and laughed alot..Cik Rahmat acted like Bapok..Funny siolsssss!! Then when i was playing with NATASHA, Faiz asked me if i wanna to join him play billard..but i say don't want..Sombong sia aku!! Then i went back into the room while my parents continue chatting with the others......[11.30 PM]

FRIDAY,20 MARCH 2009 :
>>Breakfast in Resort..Parents and Me went up to the roof of the resort and watch the sun rise..
Captured alot of nice pictures..The clouds seems to be soo near us..Like as though we could really touched and feel it..Then checked out...........[7.20 AM]
>>Visited the Koto Gadang Perak where they sells silver..learned a new tip on how to keep the silver well..Put a water beside it..Then headed to PADANG..In the bus,NATASHA kept hugging and kissing my cheeks and said " I LOVE YOU KAKAK NABILA!" It was very hot there..checked-in hotel..Before Maghrib,me and parents went out with Cik Rahmat and Cik Jamaliah..Padang was soo Boring!!On our way back to hotel,terserempak with Cik Siti,Cik Ferdaus and Faiz..Tomorrow,going back to s'pore already..so sad~....[6.25 PM]
>>Dinner at a local restaurant..the place was grand and there's people singing..People taking our picture one by one..Cik Bob and Cik Nora's daughter,NATASHA,birthday is tomorrow..
However we were celebrating it just now at the restaurant..Cik Nora's was singing on the stage..we gave her full support as she dedicated the song to the whole Hamidah Travel group..
Went up the bus and Buyung said softly,"Selamat Pulang"..And we both smiled..Then after that,we went as a group ate bakso..Marvellous!!!!! Then we visit the Radio station nearby..
The DJ were soo happy..one room,2 female DJ..Another room,1 Male DJ..They announced,
"Kami sekarang ada teman dari Singapura..And we cheered loudly..We were soo Hyper..
And took alot of picture with them.......... [12.05 AM]

SATURDAY,21 MARCH 2009 :
>>HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATASHA!!!!
And today is going to be the last day we meet each other in a group..we are going back to S'pore..
It was very saddening..We were all already like one big family..NATASHA was already like my sister..We laughed,gossip,talk and complaint together..David,our tour guide was actually sad too..And soo all of us..Mummy said that David actually cried when he apologised if there's anything wrong he did..Nenek and Tok Haji was the best couple...Very Funny..Cik Rahmat was a great Joker..And in the bus David and all of us sang "Selamat Tinggal Telok Bayu" together..
So sad~ to leave the place and each other..Mummy exchanged numbers with the others..
Didn't get to say my last goodbye to NATASHA!!!!! We were parted in the airport...
